Been down with sickness. Was lying in bed for 2 days. I have been in a lot of stress and i'm not well physically and emotionally. I feel ugly when i'm ill... and of cos when im depressed. Anxiety. Sometimes i feel really alone in this, fighting against all odds. My body is telling me i am not right. My skin is getting bad...pimples taking over my forehead. My weight is dropping, not in the way i like it. Rashes. Etc. And i can't control any of this. Its all from the inside heart that aggrevates everything outside. Lovely Shrug from Earl Grey Party, its not too warm for Singapore and keeps you really comfortable when you are indoor with the air-con blasting away. But the color of it is what makes it stands out. It feels really good to eat less and light. I'm cutting down food to lose some weight and i don't feel terrible not being able to indulge in sinful stuff at all :) One reader asked about my strict diet. It varies from day to day...and sometimes you reward yourself with something you like but in very small portion...it helps you to go a long way. I can give you some examples,

Day A / / breakfast / 2 slices multi grain bread with thin spread of nutella / black coffee no sugar / / lunch / boiled veggies, mushrooms, tofu, chicken no skin no fats / oyster sauce soy sauce gravy on top / oolong tea / / dinner / 2 oranges / soybean milk /

Day B / / breakfast / 2 slices multi grain bread with fried egg and cucumbers / soybean milk / / lunch / tuna salad of tuna, cucumber, lettuce and tomatoes / coke zero / / dinner / cherry tomatoes or papaya / soybean milk /

Eat Out / Day C / / breakfast / low fat plain yogurt with kiwis / 2-3 wheat crackers / / lunch / hawker chinese food 1/2 portion or less prefer mixed rice or fish soup / oolong tea / / dinner / macdonalds apple dippers / orange juice / 2 slices california sushi /

Eat Out / Day D / / breakfast / low fat plain yogurt with muesli / black coffee no sugar / / lunch / small portion seafood salad + 2-3 pieces raw fish sushi / green tea / / dinner / subway sandwich prefer turkey or chicken with fat free sauce /

Basically, try to cut down the intake of starch / carbohydrates, fats and sugar. If you really need it, consume it during breakfast or lunch. No desserts like cakes, ice-creams, chocolates, chips and biscuits. No deep-fried food too. Eat more veggies and fruits. Simple as that. Good if you work out on regular basis. Go to bed hungry, thats the key!

I'm still midway through so im hoping to endure this process and hit my target in a month's time :)

I feel good now and i know its gonna be worth it!

So we took the train up to Rochors De Naye and we didn't expect that we would be going so high up. The ride was so interesting that its as if you were travelling through a world of seasons-changing in 50 mins.

And then we came out of the last tunnel...we were screaming!!!! omgggg.

Its my first time seeing snow in my life! So you have to understand my excitement :D

Nothing could stop us from behaving like these little kids, going crazy, having fun and rolling in the snow!

My fingers almost died from cold when taking pictures using my iphone cos i had to take my gloves off haha.

It was freezing but we didnt care and we were having so much fun!

We thought we were missing the last train back and we had to run before it went away. The train was so crowded that there were no seats left. And we panicked!

Reluctantly, the driver made 3 of us sit on a tiny bench beside him...which was supposedly not allowed. Haha. The view from the driver's cabin was amazing....but we did kinda doze off half way through the journey. Well you can definitely call it a surprising 'first-class' experience for us! :p

Our last stop at Switzerland, Montreux. We were already so fascinated by the beautiful nature we saw during the train ride before we even got to the lake.

Then we reached our hotel facing the lake and the mountains...simply heaven.

We fell asleep at night with the sound of waves...and waking up with a beautiful scenery like this in the morning. We were blessed.

Barcelona was definitely a surprise for me. Having seen numerous times how laid-back and cultural it was portrayed in many films, i was really surprised to see the city in real life is actually very modern and high tech.

Park Güell. Everyone adores this candy-like paradise Gaudi created. Especially the little kids that we saw running around and having picnics at the garden on the hill of El Carmel.

Yeah just got back to Singapore recently and i'm still extremely exhausted and jet-lagged. Not to mention how much weight i gained from this Europe trip. Look at my chubby face and huge thighs now. Dropped by London for a couple of days and all i can describe about it is vibrant, busy, noisy and really noisyyy. It is definitely a place with many things going on and really happening 24/7. Full of people, people from all over the world. At least this was how i felt about it after running around the city for less than a week.

As you can see i have put on some weight after being in Europe for some time. Although i walked alot, and i mean ALOT...the food there was simply irresistible. Even tho they don't have as much food varieties and options to choose from unlike in Singapore, gelatos, pizzas, pastas and breads were enough to make you really fat. So i gained 3 kgs! Time to lose weight, no?

Went to Lake Como on one of the Sundays in October, its about 2 hours train ride from Milan. :) Full of people and it was quite a relaxing day for me. Also found a place with nice and cheap apertivo for dinner. As you can see, Italy is indeed beautiful.

Literally. Its 3 Degrees celsius now in Milan and i don't have much winter clothings with me! I only have to put on as many layers as i can to beat the weather. My first LIVE football match at San Siro Stadium. Been into football for years and finally i am here watching arguably one of the biggest club in the world right now. The vibe and atmosphere was sensational and crazy but the weather didn't help! It was raining and freezing. At least there were plenty of goals and just being there made it all worthwhile.

Its been raining and really depressing when its so cold at the same time. You just wanna stay indoor and curl up in bed. I will be going back to Singapore around the beginning of December and before that i will be doing some travellings to nearby countries with my two friends. :) After i get back to Singapore, i will finally be able to take proper outfit pictures with the better camera! Just got back from Torino this morning and i only had 2 hours of sleep. The concert party ended at around 5am in the morning and it was still crowded when i left! Italians really do know how to party and have fun! :D Was never a big fan of electronic music but UNDERWORLD blew me away! There will be pictures! The freezing temperature in the morning was crazy tho, body and mind numbing. Will be catching a match at San Siro this Sunday, finally im going to watch my first football match in Europe, LIVE. I am moving to a new apartment tomorrow... gotta pack now!

I am definitely missing this purple cardigan that i left it in Singapore...and the variety of clothes and shoes that i could choose from the wardrobe. But i do prefer the weather here in Milan although it can get a little depressing and uncomfortable with all that rain sometimes. I absolutely love the sun in autumn here! Went to Firenze Florence last weekend and it was amazing. How can a place be so beautiful? I think Italy is definitely one of the most beautiful country in the world, no? :) I'll be going to Torino to catch Underworld concert on Monday! Can't wait :D

Travelled to Venice on one of the weekends and it was unforgettable. Aside from how amazingly beautiful the place was in real life and to actually be there, it just felt surreal. Crazier part was when we couldn't even find a hotel or hostel to stay, not even the places with no 'stars'... every single hotel we asked for was fully booked. We tried to search for a place to sleep for almost 2 hours at night and nothing was available and when we thought the last resort was to catch the last train back home, no we missed it at 9pm. With no where to go...we had to sleep in the streets then. We also wandered around the dark streets of Venice 3am in the morning... a different way to explore the city indeed. It turned out fun.

I absolutely love this blue sweater from chicwish! Its getting really cold here and this is just what i needed. I love the plaid details and copper buttons and aside from looking cute, it really keeps you warm. Too bad i only brought one scarf over and i use it everyday with all my outfits to fight the weather. I havent been doing any real shopping in Milan and hopefully i can do that in one of the weekends. :)

Random pictures from the first week of October :) Stayed in Milan over the weekend and we went to do a little shopping in town. Lazed around Cologne, one of our favorite night spots but this time in the day. Had the famous crepe near the square, i got nutella con baileys, superb! As usual we were at cape town on Saturday night and we had a lovely cheeseburger dinner nearby. Friday we celebrated my birthday at Dario, Seb and Javier's place and had a blast with the delicious pizzas, drinks and cake. :D Thanks guys!

Sorry for the quality of my outfit pictures. I do miss the nikon DSLR back home alot :( This was my outfit on my birthday last week! And i love this fringe tee of madness design so much! Its cute and cool at the same time, it rocks. And this leather jacket that i bought it in Taiwan last year, it was made in Korea but i'm not sure of the brand, the quality is good. Yes autumn in Milan finally arrived and i have to put more clothes on. Autumn is definitely my favorite season. :)
